Biography
Yvonne Levenston is a Sydney artist, who focuses on environmental issues. She graduated from Sydney Gallery School in 2009 with a Print Making major and has continued her studies with prominent Sydney artists.
Her artwork has won a selection of awards and has been exhibited independently in over
40 group shows. One of the highlights was curating and exhibiting for Dr Jane Goodall in 2011. Yvonne’s artwork is regularly selected for environmental and animal welfare charities for
Silent Auctions.
In 2011 Yvonne travelled to Tasikoki Wildlife Rescue Centre, North Sulawesi on a residency.
She was selected to exhibit at the Sydney Children’s Hospital, 2012 and was awarded a 2013 Artstart Grant.
Yvonne has had five articles written about her work and related fundraising efforts with endangered species. She has been a Guest Speaker and provided artist talks. Her work is in Private Collections in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, New York, Toronto, Bermuda and China.
