Your INVITE TO THE LATEST

gallery and open studios.  .  .

Through Yvonne's practice of printmaking, painting and sculpture, she aims to raise questions about humanity, animal justice and social values.

The fragility of the global ecosystems, the impact of consumerism and the human footprint on the environment are important concerns in her work along with, chance, randomness and endangered species – such as Gorillas, Orangutans & Chimpanzees.

Yvonne's intention is not just to express big ideas about humanity with a single image, but to add layers of ideas and thought, enabling the viewer to process their own subconscious and to question their own humanity and consumerism.

With an experimental approach, cultural heritage and influences combined with materials let chance dictate the end result. And here is the paradox - the environment and all of its creatures can they be left up to chance and randomness – or is it all too late?
